About me and my practice
My name is Vasos and I am a qualified UK Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 25 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, LGBT-related issues, PTSD/Trauma, relationship issues, and family conflicts.
Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can be quite daunting and it takes courage, furthermore, I am here to empower you to change and lead a fulfilled life in the 'here and now.' I aim to help you make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings in a sensitive and non-judgemental way. Talking about your problems in confidence can feel relief and help you feel less alone and overwhelmed. In addition, I work with my clients to create an open, confidential, and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment or criticism.
I abide by the ethics and principles laid down by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As a registered psychotherapist and counsellor of the BACP, I receive regular supervision and training to keep my practice in line with the latest developments.
